Nghia Mai is a Vietnamese comic who spent four years in Edinburgh, the capital of Bonnie Scotland. He has performed his unique brand of racially-infused humour on numerous stages across the city, as well as at the renowned Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018. He was voted Top Banana in a stand-up competition at the Monkey Barrel Comedy Club.
Nghia has now establishing himself firmly back on the Vietnam comedy scene and also tours around the region, from Cambodia to Singapore, entertaining audiences with his colourful stories including the relentless mispronunciation of his given name by Scotsmen and others. He has opened for international headliners such as Ron Josol, Carey Marx, Jinx Yeo and Kavin Jay.
